As a first time participant in this international forum I am finding it absolutely incredible how the Lutheran family works throughout the world. Our local congregations, synods and ELCIC are intricately woven into the fabric of the Lutheran World Federation. Our partners throughout the seven regions of the world truly appreciate the impact we have as Canadians and the work we are able to do through CLWR. In spite of the horrific things we hear on our news channels; we are making an positive impact on the daily lives of many people. The Holy Spirit works in marvelous and mysterious ways. Please continue to pray for the work Lutherans are doing throughout the world and for all the participants at this historic, 60th Anniversary event of LWF.
